Foliar your soybeans at V3

A root dig in Bureau Township, Illinois in early June yielded some excellent results when comparing soybean plants that were treated in-furrow with SP-1, Even Up, and a combo of both products. Notice the root development on the three sets, especially the set that was treated with BOTH SP-1 and Even Up.

There are more fine roots, thicker stems, thicker cotyledon leaves (creating less energy drawdown of the plant), less herbicide damage, and evidence of reproductive sites developing. With soybean prices upward $11 for the first time since July 2014, there’s still a chance to make a similar impact by foliar spraying at V3. Comment below to learn more.
